Dr Min Yi Tan

Overview

Dr Tan is a Consultant Obstetrician with a sub-specialist accreditation in Maternal and Fetal Medicine from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). Alongside her specialist expertise in specialist ultrasound scans and pregnancy screening she is a consultant in the NHS at St Mary’s Hospital.

She has vast experience in the care of both normal and complex pregnancies. She has an excellent track record in patient safety and satisfaction. Her expertise includes pregnancy ultrasound, early diagnosis of pregnancy complications, prenatal testing, low-risk and high-risk obstetrics, natural births and caesarean sections.

Dr. Tan graduated with Honours from Queen’s University of Belfast and completed postgraduate training in leading teaching hospitals in London. She received advanced training in Fetal Medicine at King’s College Hospital under Professor Kypros Nicolaides. She was awarded an MD for her research on first-trimester screening for pre-eclampsia, with her work widely published in international journals. Her NHS practice is based at St Mary’s Hospital.
