Routine sexual health screening can be a positive thing to do if you’re sexually active or embarking on a new relationship. It’s a vital part of looking after yourself even if you haven’t noticed any changes, particularly as not all STIs have symptoms. Our Lite check is designed to catch and treat common infections early and for your peace of mind.
What to expect at your appointment:
- Consultation with Dr Hayes
- Abdominal and pelvic examination
- Detailed discussion of medical history and personal health concerns
- High vaginal swab to check for:
- Candida species
- Bacterial infection
- Vaginal swab to check for:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Prescription arrangement
- Written medical report
- Written notification of all test results
Enhanced sexual health check:
- Cervical HPV screen: £150
Cytology screening on request or as required +£50
Additional tests can be added at your request or Dr Hayes’ recommendation. Please note additional fees may apply.
