It’s a comprehensive assessment of your gynaecological health, tailored to your individual needs. It’s designed to provide peace of mind by providing early detection of gynaecological conditions that may affect you even if you’re not showing any specific symptoms. Dr Hayes recommends a once-yearly well woman check.

As per the NHS guidelines, smear and HPV tests are only available for women of the age of 25 and over.

  • Consultation with Dr Hayes
  • Detailed discussion of medical history and personal health concerns
  • Abdominal and pelvic examination
  • Cervical HPV screen
    Cytology screening on request or as required +£50
  • Blood tests:
    • Calcium
    • Ferritin
    • Full blood count
    • Iron
    • Lipid profile
    • Liver function test
    • Phosphate
    • Random blood glucose
    • Thyroid function
    • Urea & electrolytes
    • Uric acid
    • Vitamin D
  • Advice on contraception and sexual health
  • Prescription arrangement
  • Written medical report
  • Written notification of all test results
  • Vaginal swab to check for bacterial infections: £100
  • Vaginal swab to check for 7 sexually transmitted infections and diseases: £250
  • Pelvic ultrasound scan
  • Breast screening (mammogram and/or breast ultrasound scan)
  • Bone density / DEXA scan for osteoporosis

Additional tests can be added at your request or Dr Hayes’ recommendation. Please note additional fees may apply.
