Cervical smear and HPV check: £450
Cervical screening looks for certain types of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), a common group of viruses that can cause changes to the cells of your cervix. If high-risk subtypes of HPV are found to be positive, the cells of the cervix within that sample are checked for any changes which can then be treated before they get a chance to develop into cervical cancer.
As per the NHS guidelines, smear and HPV tests are only available for women of the age of 25 and over.
Contraceptive coil insertion: from £445
Intrauterine devices also known as ‘coils’ are ideal for women who wish to use this for contraception or to help with heavy or painful periods. Coil insertions with Dr Hayes are designed with you in mind, making it as easy and stress-free as possible to have a coil fitted, removed or replaced.
Contraceptive coil removal: £350
If you’re in need of a coil removal, our service is designed with you in mind, making it as easy and stress-free as possible to have your coil removed. In circumstances where a coil removal hasn’t been possible in an outpatient consultation, we offer an outpatient hysteroscopy which is a simple procedure under local anaesthetic to remove the coil.
Early, late, painful period review: £550
Irregular and painful periods can be caused by various factors, usually involving hormonal changes, including menopause or hormonal contraception. Other aspects can include stress, weight gain, extreme exercise or underlying health conditions, such as endometriosis or fibroids. Our review is designed to help find the cause and regulate your cycles.
Fertility check: £555
Our fertility check is designed to help you understand your fertility status and ability to conceive. It can also be a first step in deciding whether to delay having a baby until the time is right or consider egg freezing for the future. Understanding your fertility health early on can bring peace of mind and more time to explore your options.
Menopause review: £400
The menopause is different for everyone. The common signs and symptoms (hot flashes, irregular periods, mood swings etc.) are usually enough to tell most women that they’ve started the transition. This can have a big impact on your life, including relationships and work. Our menopause check is designed to help you take control with expert advice and individualised treatment.
Outpatient hysterosocopy: from £2,100
Outpatient hysteroscopies are designed to investigate, diagnose and possibly treat a number of issues within the uterus. Whether you suffer from abnormal bleeding, recurrent miscarriage or simply need help with a displaced IUD coil, an outpatient hysteroscopy can investigate your concern without the need for general anaesthetic.
Ovarian cancer screen: £410
Ovarian cancer is one of the most common cancers in women. Whether you have a family history or are concerned about your symptoms, our ovarian screen is designed to detect early signs of any ovarian cancer. Early detection and diagnosis can prevent anything out of the ordinary from becoming more serious.
PCOS – Polycystic Ovary Syndrome screen: £550
PCOS is a common type of hormonal imbalance that affects ovarian function. It can cause a varied range of symptoms and go on to affect fertility and increase the risk of other health conditions. Our PCOS screen is designed to help diagnose you, relieve symptoms and minimise the impact on your everyday life.
Postnatal check: from £250
Our postnatal check is recommended for all mothers around six to eight weeks after giving birth – or sooner if you have any specific concerns. Your postnatal check will include a thorough physical examination, incision check and review of contraception. It’s also an opportunity to discuss your health and any changes to your body – from soreness, urinary incontinence to painful intercourse. Dr Hayes focuses on both your physical and mental recovery to support your wellbeing after your baby’s birth.
Pre-pregnancy health check: £850
Our pre-pregnancy health check is the best way of ensuring a healthy pregnancy before you start trying to conceive. It’s designed to assess medical conditions and lifestyle factors that can affect pregnancy and help you make sure that your body is ready as you embark on this exciting journey.
Recurrent miscarriage screen: £1,350
Miscarriages can be deeply upsetting and traumatic, and sadly some women suffer multiple pregnancy losses. It’s not always clear why recurrent miscarriages occur and there can be many complex and varied causes. Our recurrent miscarriage screen is designed to give you an insight into the possible causes, offer advice to reduce the risk of miscarriage and improve the chance of a successful pregnancy. This package is designed for women who have experienced two or more miscarriages.
Sexual health check – Comprehensive: £650
Routine sexual health screening can be a positive thing to do if you’re sexually active or embarking on a new relationship. It’s a vital part of looking after yourself even if you haven’t noticed any changes, particularly as not all STIs have symptoms. It’s designed to catch and treat any infections early and for your peace of mind.
